Para lograr esto el staff del colegio se reúne, planifica y crea un ambiente seguro dentro del colegio. Debatimos las expectativas de los alumnos. Alentamos a los padres a que compartan los deseos y objetivos que buscan para sus hijos. Nos comunicamos con los padres a través del cuaderno de comunicaciones, llamadas telefónicas, el sitio web, reuniones presenciales y el newsletter.
Creemos que es importante que los padres participen en todos los aspectos de la vida escolar. Sabemos que la utilización de las mismas reglas en 'casa' y en el colegio le brindarán al alumno una actitud coherente y consistente.

MISS GERY & ENGLISH STAFF

Primer assembly
Fuimos deleitados en nuestro primer día de clases con la presencia de unas de las más conocidas compañías de danza tradicional irlandesa; THE IRISH FEET.
Verlos bailar nos hizo pasar un rato muy agradable y esperamos contar con ellos nuevamente.

Festejo de San Patricio
El martes 17 de marzo festejamos el día de San Patricio, Patrono de Irlanda, las consignas fueron varias, venir con ropa verde o naranja, pintarse la cara, traer accesorios irlandeses, compartir una merienda y presentar algo en nuestro assembly alusivo al tema.
Primer año cantó THE LEPRECHAUN SONG, decoró un duende gigante y se llevó mini títeres de leprechauns. Segundo año recitó una hermosa poesía y realizó un móvil para colgar. Tercer año nos deleitó con una Bendición Irlandesa y preparó llaveros en forma de trébol con porcelana fría. Cuarto año cocinó galletitas de manteca (en el comedor del colegio) en forma de shamrock, nos explicó la receta y llevó de regalo a casa algunas en bolsitas para compartir. Quinto año imprimió remeras blancas con imágenes de San Patricio que los mismos alumnos eligieron y quienes en el assembly describieron la leyenda a través de imágenes. Sexto año explicó a los más chicos el significado de los símbolos de San Patricio e Irlanda, el trébol, el arpa, el color verde, etc…y todos cantaron la tradicional canción irlandesa DANNY BOY.
Terminamos la tarde con una gran ronda y muchas cosas ricas para compartir.

The Staff works and plans together to create a safe school environment. We discuss clear expectations for children's works. We encourage parents to share their hopes and goals for their children.We comunicate with parents through the communication copybook, phone calls, the website, in meetings and through the newsletter.

We believe it is important for parents to participate in every aspect of school life. Using these rules 'at home' as well as in school will provide consistency for your child.

First Assembly
We were delighted to welcome THE IRISH FEET Company Group, one of the most popular traditional Irish dance groups, we had a wonderful time watching them perform and we hope to have them again at school.

St. Patrick's Day
On Tuesday 17th. we celebrated St.Patrick's Day, Patron of Ireland, on that day we came in green or orange outfits, we painted our faces, we brought hats or pins, we shared our school snack and we prepared something to show at assembly. First Form sang THE LEPRECHAUN SONG, they decorated a huge one too and they took home tiny leprechauns puppets. Second Form recited a beautiful song and they made a mobile to hang at home. Third Form said an Irish Blessing and they prepared a shamrock shaped
Key ring. Fourth Form cooked butter cookies at school, they explained the recipe and they took some home to share with their families. Fifth Form printed white T-shirts with designs they have chosen and they also explained St.Patrick's Legend through pictures. Sixth Form told the little ones the meaning of Irish symbols and they sang the traditional song DANNY BOY. We all shared our snacks in the playground. You can see the pictures in the school web.
